Individual Art Therapy
Individual art therapy sessions offer a gentle, client-led space to explore emotions, experiences, and identity through the creative process. You don’t need any art experience, just the willingness to show up as you are.

What to Expect
Each session moves at your pace. We might begin with a check in, move into creative exploration using a chosen material or prompt, and close with reflection. Conversation informed by therapeutic modalities is available when useful. Comfort, safety, and curiosity guide the flow.

How This Work Can Help
Art therapy can support emotional regulation, self-understanding, and healing from stress or trauma. The process often brings insights that words alone can’t reach, helping you connect with inner wisdom and new perspectives.

How It Differs from Talk Therapy
While traditional therapy focuses primarily on dialogue, Art Therapy centres the creative process itself. Making art engages the body and imagination, offering a more intuitive path to understanding and expression. The artwork becomes a tool in your healing, not just a topic of conversation.

My approach is trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, feminist, and anti-oppressive. Art becomes a safe doorway into truth, clarity, and emotional understanding.
